OUR TREATMENT CONCEPT

Specialist consultants and coordinating therapists

Our clinic has developed a treatment concept that is unique in Germany: each patient is supported by an experienced specialist consultant throughout their stay in the clinic. Our ‘coordinating therapist’ principle also means that you have the same point of contact throughout all your treatments and therapy appointments.

Regain your independence

We want you to leave our rehabilitation programme free from any complaints, and able to live your life independently once again. For patients who are in employment, our goal is to ensure that you maintain or regain your ability to work.

THE FOUR PILLARS OF OUR TREATMENT PROGRAMME

Physical recovery

Any serious illness or surgery leaves your body weak and depleted. Pain from recent post-operative wounds is common, and your organs and joints may not have (fully) recovered. Our care team has special wound management training and so can monitor and progress your wound healing process, ensuring your recovery is without complications. We design your individual therapy plan to rapidly reduce existing functional impairments, and increase your physical capacity.

Psychological healing

A spell in hospital, surgery, chronic pain and difficulties in living your life independently can all cause a strain on the human psyche. Patients frequently feel down, anxious or uncertain, and may develop symptoms of depression, which is why we place particular focus on our patients’ psychological recovery. Our clinic also has a private ward for acute psychosomatic disorders, enabling us to offer excellent specialist mental health expertise here within the clinic

Learning to live with your condition

Empathetic psychiatrists and psychotherapists help our rehabilitation patients to learn how to manage their pain, or draw on their inner powers of resilience. This is done in group session in particular.

(Occupational) reintegration

On discharge from our clinic, you will be perfectly prepared to face daily life. We will teach you about your medications, and how to use various aids. We also offer diabetes courses, which we extend to relatives, too. You will learn about the right diet for persons needing care, within your own comfort zone, and we also support you with advice on diet and outpatient treatments following your stay in our clinic.

OUR TREATMENTS

Getting well is like setting out on a hike: there will be ups and downs, and sometimes corners to turn, but each stage of your treatment brings you closer to your goal.

Throughout your entire stay, your relationship therapist will work with you in accordance a treatment plan tailored to you personally and your condition. Our aim is to challenge, not over-challenge you.

Therapies take place in our well-equipped treatment rooms, the clinic’s own swimming pool, the exercise pool, and of course the wonderful location of our ‘Alpenpark’ setting. Our tip: take some time out now to take in the view over Lake Tegernsee and the impressive Alpine panorama.
